Dilemma

  1. A situation that requires a choice between options that are or seem equally unfavorable or mutually exclusive.
  2. Usage Problem. A problem that seems to defy a satisfactory solution.
  3. Logic. An argument that presents two alternatives, each of which has the same consequence.

IN BRIEF: A difficult choice between things that are equally unpleasant.

A dilemma (Greek δί-λημμα "double proposition") is a problem offering at least two solutions or possibilities, of which none are practically acceptable; one in this position has been traditionally described as "being on the horns of a dilemma", neither horn being comfortable; or "being between a rock and a hard place", since both objects or metaphorical choices being rough.

I’m in a state of dilemma. Why is life so complicated? Why can’t we just enjoy life as it is?

It’s so hard to choose, knowing that in the end, one has to sacrifice or give something up. What make things harder are the consequences of choosing one over the other.

Why should we sacrifice something if we knew we were going to be hurt by the mere thought of losing something so valuable? Why should we hurt? Why should we feel pain?

I guess I can never know the answer to these questions…and yet, the fact still remains...sacrifices are a part of life. So is change. I guess we just have to deal with that. Even if it hurts. Move on...Let go...

My In My Womb 3d/4d Ultrasound Experience Last Saturday, we had our 6th checkup with our OB-Gynecologist. So far, everything's ok. I passed my Glucose Challenge test, but I still need to cut on my sugar intake. We were also able to hear our little one's heartbeat. Next week I will be having my Tetanus Toxoid shot -- scary!! After the checkup, we proceeded to Makati for our scheduled 3d4d ultrasound at In My Womb. I have heard lots of great reviews about this ultrasound center so we have decided to have our ultrasound there. Their center is located at 2f, The Link Bldg, Ayala Makati. The building is beside Landmark. Before proceeding, we had our lunch first at Ineng's Special BBQ -- great food, terrible customer service! After eating, we then proceded to the 2nd level. We were greeted by a courteous nurse and I told her that I was scheduled for an ultrasound with Dra. Ramos. I would actually like to have the procedure done by the owner, Dra. Our Weekened Getaway @ Tagaytay (a.k.a. My Post Birthday Celebration)

As mentioned in my prev ious post, hubby and I were planning to have a weekend getaway in Tagaytay. And thank Go d it pushed through! The weather was terrific that day des pite some rain showers during the week. It was a gr eat gift f or me. I was so excited the day before our trip that I wasn’t a b le to do an ything at work. Hehehe…I actually just searched for places to go in Tagaytay. I have been there many times a nd I wanted to go somewhere we both haven’t been to. Unfortunately, there was not so much choice for us since we will be commuting and most of the unexplored sights in Tagaytay can only be reached if you have your own vehicle with you. Oh well, since hubby and I are together in this trip, it r eally didn’t matter a nymore. So, without further ado, here’s a rundown of our last week end’s experience: FRIDAY, JUNE 12; It was a holiday but we opted to wake up early so that we could already get ready for our trip. We left our house at around 9:00AM.
